Follow the instructions to create your photo gallery:
Hover your mouse over My Sites at the top left of the screen and you will see my teaching blog HuddletoHorizon and your blog underneath.
Hover your mouse over your blog and you will see New Post in a list to the right. Click on this to open a new post and start blogging!
Give your post a title. This should be the name you want to give your photo documentary – e.g. El Niño 2017 – A Photo Documentary.
Then you need to upload media files to your blog account – go to Add Media and upload your photos from your laptop.
Do not just insert these photos into your post. You need to create a gallery.
Next, choose Create gallery on the left-hand menu.
Put a check on each photo you want to include. As you choose each photo, add an image title (avoid using numbers) and caption using the blank fields on the right-hand menu (you can copy and paste the caption from your storyboard document). Remember to credit the photo if you have borrowed it. E.g. courtesy of …
Please check that your image titles and captions start with capital letters. Also, check your spelling and punctuation.
Also, copy and paste your reasons for choosing each photo into the ‘description’ field. Again, make sure you have written in full sentences and check the spelling and punctuation.
Click on Create New Gallery
If you haven’t already, add your captions underneath each photo (remember to credit the photo if you have borrowed it. E.g. courtesy of ….).
Choose the following gallery settings – column 1, full size.
Click on Insert Gallery
Your photos should appear in your post like below:
